The type hunt
Last April, I was lucky enough to win the grrrrreat type hunt contest at the Big Spaceship Labs’ blog. The game’s objective was to identify the tricky typefaces used in the 18 letter Rs.
After spending several hours at myfonts, I got 15 correct answers and fortunately won the contest. The reward is a free pass to Flashbelt conference orgarnized on 13-16, June in Minneapolis.
While I obviously can’t make it to Minneapolis to attend the event, I am definitely happy to have won something. The week before the game, I lost both my cell phone and my bicycle, so finally I had some luck.
Of course, if the prize had been an Ipad, I would not have stood a chance. :)
